Review notes:

1. Generously sized and well-cooked beef.
2. Lamb was good but disappointingly small compared to the beef.
3. The meal came with an adequate amount of veg.
4. Amazingly rich, thick and slightly sweet gravy.
5. Small, no-nonsense pub with friendly staff.
6. A little out of the way and slightly difficult to find but easy to reach from King’s Cross when you know where it is.
