Review notes:
- To set the ambiance: they served jus, not gravy.
- Definitely a restaurant not a pub, rather loud and crowded with a children’s “princess tea party” in the back.
- Members of our company had issues with table cloth creases and whether or not the ‘distressed’ state of the ceiling was genuine.
- A generous number and amount of side dishes, although this may be a reflection of the price.
- Stout was served in glass tankard (plus point).
- Quality of the beef was very good.
