Review Notes:

1. A lovely old Victorian pub with a log burning stove
2. Nice atmosphere, not too loud or trendy. Very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable staff
3. Glass tankards, always a bonus (although not provided for our stout)
4. Real Ales on tap
5. Good helpings, and seasonal vegetables. Spiced red cabbage was a welcome addition.
6. Crisp and tasty roast potatoes
7. Gravy was a bit thin, ok taste and plenty provided.
8. Beef was a little chewy but good amount and well cooked.
9. Good whisky selection and nice selection of cocktails.  One of our company sampled a very fetching pink concoction.
